Another New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone!

It’s the start of a brand new year and a chance to start again in so many different ways..leaving some things behind in 2010 and seeking new challenges for the year ahead.

This term we’re looking at the subject of sharing what we believe with other people – What our faith means to us; Why we should bother telling others; And how we should do it.

If you can make it to any of the CU meetings it would be great to see you.

And don’t forget, if you’ve got a burning question that you want to ask, preferably faith related(!), then fire away…

It doesn’t matter how complicated you think it may be (or how stupid you think it may sound). I guarantee many other people will be thinking and asking the same things as you.

Incase you hadn’t heard…

Christmas is coming!

I hope you have a great Christmas and a fantastic break over the holidays…but remember what it’s all about.

To forget Christ at Christmas would be like someone giving out loads of presents to all your friends because it was your birthday – but then missing you out. None of us would like that, so lets not leave Jesus out this Christmas-time.

A New Start…

Hey Guys,

Welcome back to a new academic year! Hopefully it will be one full of exciting things and all sorts of new challenges.

Don’t forget the Christian Unions/Faith Clubs we’ve got going on, all starting up again this week.

Lakelands – Mondays 13.00 in the Lakelands Suite

Marches – Tuesdays 13.00 in H9 (used to be the bridging centre)

Walford and North Shropshire College – Wednesdays 12.30 in M113

Ellesmere College – Wednesdays 13.30 in the Geography Dept

Also a date for your diaries – Friday 8th Oct there is a joint youth event happening at Cabin Lane church’s ‘Whole Life Centre’. There will be a band, I’ve been asked to speak and there will be a chance to meet other like-minded young people from the local area. I’m sure it willbe a great evening if you can make it!

Exams….

Hey guys, it seems like exam season is well and truly here… I hope all goes well for your GCSE’s and other end of year exams. Do the best you can and don’t worry!!!
